What is executive coaching?
Executive coaching is a collaborative, non-directive process to uncover and work towards your potential in both professional and personal spheres. It is not counselling or therapy, but holds the client capable to choose the course and execute the desired actions. It is a safe and confidential space, co-created with the coach, where the smallest idea can grow into something beautiful.
What is the Enneagram?
The enneagram is a personality profile that considers behaviours in the context of motivation. It is a helpful tool that facilitates self-awareness and allows for individual uniqueness. The specific tool we use, the Integrative Enneagram, also provides information on current stress levels, social instincts, and potential tools for integration.
How does coaching work?
We offer a complementary discovery session so we can discuss what you would like to work towards and what is currently standing in your way. We explore whether now is a good time for coaching and if there is a good fit between you and the coach. If you decide to proceed we book future sessions where we work towards a smaller portion of your larger goal, or another topic that may be taking mental energy and personal or professional resources. You choose the topic and your coach ask questions designed to bring you clarity, deeper understanding and ideas for action. You decide how often to meet, though we recommend not going longer than two weeks between sessions.
How much does it cost?
The cost of sessions will vary depending on the services required and customized packages are available. A standard 60 minute executive coaching session costs $150.
Is there homework or tasks for me to do between sessions?
While some clients enjoy having accountability, your coach will hold you capable to complete what you choose to do, which means they will not be constantly checking on you. Any action steps you decide to take are entirely your choice. If you would like questions to help you reflect or prepare for upcoming sessions, those can be provided, but are not mandatory. The coaching experience is designed around you and what you hope to achieve.
What happens if I have a question between sessions?
If you have a question, or need a brief conversation between sessions, we are pleased to email or have a phone conversation. We may not be available to answer immediately, but we generally have time to return calls between sessions. We ask that those calls be limited to 10 minutes. Email and brief phone conversations are included in the coaching experience and there is no additional charge.
